Cambio?

The shortage of blog entries will be corrected tomorrow, as Rachael is leaving this evening to go back to Florida. In the meantime, I wanted to talk about a different kind of shortage in Buenos Aires - the coin kind. There is currently a coin shortage in Buenos Aires, which directly affects anyone trying to get around in the city or anyone that buys anything (so pretty much everyone). The problem is that people and businesses hoard coins, which are needed to use the bus or make change anywhere. As a result, the one peso coin has become more valuable than the two peso bill.
